How to finish up your car with drying
After the foam wash, a rinse is essential to rid the surface of the remaining washing-active substances. It prepares the vehicle for preservation and the application of drying aids. To ensure that the water beads run off optimally and as completely as possible under the blower, a chemical drying aid from Caramba is the remedy of choice. The key task is to achieve a rapid and extensive breakdown of the water film and to effectively support blower drying. The end result is a car that is dry and shiny as desired. In the Caramba range, you will find a comprehensive selection of drying aids.
Tips for good drying results
Basically, the following applies to the processes: Contour-controlled blowers usually dry better, but the power of the motors is often lower than that of rigid blowers. Either way, it is worth making sure that the fan wheels and air shafts are always clean and, above all, tight, so that the blower can deliver the full drying performance.
Important: Only when the wash water has been blown off well should the textile cloth dryer – if available – be used. Different models are available:
- A dryer wags the cloth strips to the left and right.
- A rotary cloth dryer pulls the dryer materials in one direction over the car.
- A roller dryer moves the car in a similar way as the washing rollers.
The task is the same for all processes: the last micro-beads need to be absorbed. This also produces a polishing effect that makes the paintwork shine. The customer can thus be presented with a top result from the car wash.
