High-performance protection thanks to high grade zinc
Zinc is a special metal because it provides both active and also passive corrosion protection properties. On the one hand, this material forms a barrier against weather and moisture and, on the other hand, it acts as a galvanic anode against contact corrosion. Hence, it protects iron or steel that is in contact with it by oxidising preferably and thus protecting the actual part against rusting. These specific properties are the secret of our zinc spray matt grey. This spray is perfect as a zinc spray primer prior to painting on metallic surfaces, but it is also a means for repairing damaged coatings due to drilling, cutting and welding. When the colour after such work is of importance, we also recommend our zinc spray aluminium light that is a better match to the zinc colour while having a similar protective effect.
Tips on how to use
Our zinc spray against rust is easy to use. At first, shake the can well until you can hear the mixing balls clashing. Spray the zinc spray matt grey on the appropriately prepared substrate from a distance of approx. 20 to 30 cm. Always spray equally with a slow crosswise motion. Our zinc spray matt grey excels by very quick drying and can be painted over and ground already one day after application. The dried film then consists of 99% pure zinc. For more information on how to use it, please refer to the instructions on the packaging and safety data sheet.
