Issue
Construction vehicles and machines are exposed to a completely different level of dirt during use than, for example, vehicles on the road. High concentrations of very fine dusts and sludge, in some cases from acidic and reactive soils, badly affect construction machinery. Thorough and regular cleaning therefore makes an important contribution to the life-prolonging maintenance and care of the material. Due to the dimensions and transport costs of construction vehicles, cleaning in wash systems is rarely possible.
Challenge
Construction vehicles are usually cleaned with high-pressure cleaners by hand. Furthermore, aggressive solvents are also used, for example to remove cement residue. The human effort created is not insignificant, which also pollutes the environment due to the handling of hazardous substances and carries an increased risk of accidents.
Analysis
At Max Aicher, vehicles and machines are steam-blasted on the company premises.
Basic chemistry is used as cleaning agents to remove even strongly adhering contamination. Handling the chemicals also increases the risk of accidents. Furthermore, the environment is polluted correspondingly.

Multifunctional oil for loosening rust and lubrication and care of screwed and hinge joints. Thanks to its good ability to penetrate, rusted screwed joints are loosened in no time at all, moisture is displaced, protection against corrosion is provided and dry components are optimally lubricated. The solid content provides the gliding properties, squeaking and creaking noises are eliminated, it protects against wear and is pressure- and heat-resistant up to 300°C.
