A lot of cleaning effect in a short time – with the right pre-cleaners
At premium service facilities, manual car pre-cleaning with a high-pressure jet and brush is often still carried out today, while fully automated car washes tend to rely on mechanical pre-cleaning. In both cases, Caramba pre-cleaners ensure excellent results quickly and effectively. You will quickly find the right high-yield pre-cleaner for your specific requirements in our range – we will be happy to help with your choice.
Water only or water plus water chemistry?
A good technical high-pressure cleaner – either as a hand-held device or as an element of the car wash – is the basis of perfect car pre-cleaning. Sometimes only clear water is used here to remove coarse dirt. However, you can achieve better cleaning results if you add a special pre-cleaner to the water in the device. The Caramba products dissolve stubborn dirt and insect bodies and thus create the basis for thorough cleanliness.
Manual pre-cleaning:
Quality of equipment and chemistry is decisive
Manual pre-cleaning has the advantage that even heavily soiled areas and hard-to-reach problem zones of the car are cleaned well and thoroughly. In addition to the quality of the washing chemicals, the right equipment is of great importance here. Natural hairbrushes are usually used for manual pre-cleaning because they are soft and also have a high cleaning performance with acceptable wear. Only for the pre-cleaning of the sills and wheel rims are somewhat harder brushes suitable in order to better loosen the stuck dirt. If soft sponges are used instead of natural hairbrushes, these should always be clean to prevent damage to the paintwork. In any case, the low mechanical cleaning power of manual pre-cleaning should be compensated by the chemical factor – especially because cleaning time is usually short. High performance of the equipment and professional chemistry together enable your employees to achieve a considerable pre-cleaning effect in the short time available.
Mechanical pre-cleaning:
Automatic success with chemical support
In express washing lines, manual pre-cleaning is often unnecessary and too cost-intensive. Here, machine pre-cleaning is the first step in the classic cleaning process. The Caramba products deliver very good cleaning results here in combination with the high mechanical pressure of the brush cleaning.
Low pressure cleaning
for special requirements
Certain vehicles should ideally be treated with a low pressure cleaner, e.g. convertibles or vehicles with sensitive paintwork or loose parts. Some installations have a special convertible programme with low pressure. Alternatively, pre-cleaner can be applied with a low-pressure unit during a manual wash. One thing is certain: Even and especially with low pressure, the chemical pre-cleaner is of great importance.
